Why Aligned ABA
Clinical Co-Creators
We believe that serving as clinical co-creators means being an integral part of every step in the process. This includes providing support to every member of the team. In doing so, we take part in the initial stages of preparing each family for the process of their child's services. We maintain continuous collaboration with the team, act as role models for the staff and families, and contribute to the training of both the clinical team and families.

Rika Hawes M.S. BCBA
Clinical Analyst
Rika Hawes has been working with children and individuals with learning differences since 2010. While obtaining her Bachelor's of Science in Rehabilitative Services and minor in Psychology, she became passionate to support individuals with developmental disabilities through her studies and field work.
Rika's love for ABA started when she first worked as a direct therapist at a small clinic in Pennsylvania where she experienced celebrating the endless joys and progress of the children she worked with everyday. While there, she obtained her Master's of Science in ABA and Autism studies from Sage College, received her BCBA certification in 2017 and thereafter worked as a supervisor to countless families and professionals. Her desire to learn more about Autism and the science of the ABA led her to California to complete a 2 year fellowship where she gained hands-on rigorous experience and training with researchers and world renowned clinicians on the implementation of progressive ABA and quality supervision.
Rika's commitment to her mission of learning and providing quality ABA remained dedicated as she continued to work for several ABA organizations in Orange County. In 2023, she and Elizabeth co-founded Aligned ABA, where their collective expertise and dedication converged to create a new avenue for helping individuals with developmental differences and their families.
